In 1996 we completed the construction of a 3000m² factory unit comprising double storey height production area, ancillary and office accommodation. The works generally consist of strip foundations to walls and reinforced pad foundations to column bases, reinforced power-floated slab to ground floor, 2400 high clay facing brickwork cavity wall construction to external walls with insulated metal cladding over; facing block internal walls to production area, precast concrete screeded upper floors, steel staircase, structural steel frame with insulated metal roof sheeting, aluminium powder coated windows and curtain walling system; mechanical and electrical services. The siteworks completed under the contract included a concrete marshalling area, bitmac carparking spaces, metal boundary fencing, foul and surface water drainage and soft landscaping.
